My Experience with Car-free Travel

No question, driving is often the easiest way to explore a different country. But there are many reasons why you might prefer a car-free vacation. Maybe you don’t even have a license or you just don’t want to deal with driving on the other side of the road or foreign travel rules. Or maybe you want to limit the environmental impact of your trip. But no matter the reason – luckily, most places can be discoverd by public transport.

Though I do have a license (and used to drive a lot when living in LA), I don’t need a car at home so am completely out of practise. And the last thing I want to do on vacation is worry about my driving skills. So in recent years all my trips were done by public transportation.

On this page you will find all my posts that specifically concentrate on using public transportation.
