Best time for a visit
Switzerland is great for skiing and snow sports in winter and for hiking in the summer. Early spring (March to April) and late fall (November) are probably the least ideal times for a trip.

My experience in Switzerland
Even though I live not far from the border to Switzerland, I had never visited before my recent trip. Growing up, I was always told that the country is just too expensive. I thought that was an exaggeration but when I finally did visit I realized that indeed the prices are staggering!
Still, the country has much to offer, from exciting cities to stunning mountain scenery so I do recommend a visit – just make sure to plan your budget carefully!
